Read your library book at school and at home!
Students need to be testing at least once a week. We will have some reading and testing time in class each day, so there are no excuses to not meet your goal. Aim to have at least 30 minutes of independent reading time at home each day to make meeting your goal easier. Work hard so you can earn your reward for making it to your goal! |

Parents: Share the love of reading with your children! Yes they need independent reading time, but they also need to listen to you read! Read to them often, read the same book and have a book discussion, and most importantly: listen to them read. Your love of reading will inspire and grow their own love for reading.
